Shekinah is now re-opened to the public
As of July 27, 2020, Shekinah Retreat Centre Is Re-opened To The Public
In accordance with ReOpen Saskatchewan guidelines and being able to rehire some staff members, Shekinah has re-opened to the public.
We are asking the public and patrons of Shekinah to follow all Government of Saskatchewan guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
People looking to book Shekinah for family reunions, weddings, business functions, etc. should call and verify that Shekinah will work for their size of group. For example, we can feed (banquet style) up to 100 people and can accommodate groups of 30 for an overnight retreat.
Note: there may be additional charges due to added staff being needed.
You are welcome to hike our trails. Shekinah has many kilometres of trails. Most have been cleared, although you may encounter staff working on them.
Hikers should take note, however, that there is not always staff on site, especially on weekends. Please use sound judgement while accessing the hiking trails.
Should you decide to hike (and you are very welcome to do so), we ask that you give a small donation to Shekinah. $7.50 / person or $20 / family is a suggestion.
You can donate online (see donations menu up at the top right of this page) or leave a donation in the boxes on Ravine Trail. Or leave your donation in the mailbox at the office. (The office is the first building on your right as you come down the hill).
Please stay healthy and safe in these unusual times.
We encourage all to continue to follow guidelines put out by the provincial and federal governments and health agencies.
