Introducing our New Executive Director

We are thankful that Amy Peters and Audrey Kampen were able to help us transition to a new executive director. Amy returns to her work teaching at Sask Polytech and guiding with Outward Bound Canada. We hope to continue to access her knowledge of the Saskatchewan Tourism industry. Audrey Kampen, who has served on the board of directors for five years will be working as assistant to the executive director that will be starting on March 4th. The Shekinah board is pleased to announce that Sharon Mishael Murugiah will be starting as permanent full time Executive Director on March 4. Sharon worked for many years in Sri Lanka with World Vision’s child sponsorship program. He has an MBA, a Project Management certificate and a diploma in IT networking. His skills will be well used at Shekinah. We are grateful for this answer to prayer. Please join the board in welcoming and supporting Sharon to this important role in our church community!

I am very excited to see how this journey unfolds and explore new ways to take Shekinah to the next level. I am also personally excited to experience the presence of the Lord and see His glory through His beautiful creations, as the name suggests.
